I host small-format workshops in collaboration with Saje Natural Wellness (Market Mall and Mt Royal locations in Calgary), designed to introduce participants to material play in an approachable way.
These sessions focus on creating functional objects—such as oil holders—while incorporating elements of colour, composition, and tactile exploration. Participants are guided through a simple, structured process, with space for experimentation and personal expression.
Workshops are intentionally intimate, with all materials provided.
No prior experience is required.
Workshop – Mother’s Day!
Roller Holders
Celebrate the women in your life with a workshop centered on presence, creativity, and connection. This session brings together tactile making and scent exploration, offering a simple but thoughtful way to spend time together.
Participants will create a recycled glass terrazzo roller holder designed to house their favourite personal scents. Using reclaimed materials and guided techniques, each piece becomes a small, functional object with its own character.
Hosted in collaboration with Saje Natural Wellness, the workshop also includes an introduction to Saje’s signature roller blends, connecting material experience with scent.
What Participants Will Do
- Select your mould and a custom palette of recycled glass to create your terrazzo piece
- Learn about Saje’s core roller blends with guidance from in-store staff
- Shape, assemble, and finish your own functional holder
- Enjoy a relaxed, social environment with time to connect and create
- Browse the store between stages of the making process
- Leave with a completed piece and a deeper understanding of the materials behind it
The making process is intentionally simple, intuitive, and accessible — no prior experience required.
