Over the last several years, I’ve moved to majority repurposed glass as not to incur the creation of new glass. I also, utilize offcuts and wet-saw debris that would otherwise be trashed and have developed products and art collections with them specifically.
A FEW GIFT IDEAS
ALBERTA ‘ICE’ BOWLS
Small trinket dishes or large statement decor, these bowls can be made of almost any glass. Tempered glass tends to look like ice (or even diamonds). Please note there are rough edges due to the creation process.
MINI ANIMALS
Why not gift an iconic albertan animal sculpture as an option for a high-end client, donor or retirement gift. All made from recycled glass. I offer slab-cast and waterjet cut versions or with enough time, resin cast versions made with offcuts from the waterjet process (ensuring a zero waste cycle).
ORNAMENTS
Utilizing flattened bottle glass, I can laser engrave Christmas ornaments with custom designs. These can not only have detailed designs, but employee or team names and the year to commemorate project milestones or even long service employees.
CUSTOM SCULPTURE
I’m more than happy to work with you on some custom sculptural pieces for that one-of-a-kind need. The retirement of a CEO, perhaps a large donor gift recognition piece, this is a truly personalized idea.
