Commissions

In addition to purchasing work from my current inventory, I offer two distinct ways to commission a custom artwork for your home or office.

1. Full Custom Commission

Starting at $4,000 — Final pricing depends on size and materials.

While much of my work explores historical extreme weather events, I also create custom pieces based on personally meaningful dates.

You provide a significant date (month/year) and a location (major city), along with a brief description of why this moment matters to you.

I’ll create two unique design options for you to review.

We’ll discuss materials, dimensions, and your colour preferences. I can also Photoshop mockups of the designs into a photo of your intended display space.

We test material samples in your space to finalize the feel.

I retrieve historical weather data from that time and place, using it to shape the design.

Once the budget is confirmed, I create your piece.

Example:

  • A couple commissions a piece to celebrate their daughter’s birth.
  • They provide her birthdate, birthplace, and some personal context.
  • They also share which colours they’re drawn to from my existing work.
  • I design two options, mock them into photos of their space, and provide material samples for testing.
  • Once sizing and budget are finalized, the piece is made.

2. Pre-Buy from an Upcoming Collection

Starting at $4,000 — Final pricing depends on size and materials.

Because my process involves designing a full collection digitally before production, you have the opportunity to preview designs in advance and secure a piece ahead of release.

Each collection starts with small ‘minis’ to preview colours and hint at the data or narrative that will inform the work.

These are followed by a series of screenprints, and finally, the larger sculptural wall pieces.

You can reserve a design before the full collection launches, choosing your preferred size and colour palette.

This is an excellent option if a fully custom commission feels overwhelming—you still get a tailored piece with guided options.

Example:

  • A couple loves my work but isn’t sure where to start.
  • They select a design from my upcoming collection preview.
  • They tell me which colours they prefer from the ‘minis.’
  • I provide material samples so they can test them in their space.
  • We finalize the size and budget, and I produce the work.
